The Santa Rosa Children’s Chorus, under the leadership of Artistic Director, Carol Menke, will present their annual Choral Celebration Concert on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m., at The Glaser Center in Santa Rosa.

The concert features a variety of songs that range in mood and style, but with the focus on celebrating the holiday season through music.

The concert features several guest artists who will be performing with the Chorus including: Cantiamo, a 17 member adult vocal ensemble also directed by Menke; cellist Laura McLellan, who spent most of her professional life back east playing the cello in the symphony orchestras of Cincinnati, Montreal, Rochester, and New Orleans; and clarinetist Roy Zajac, who in 1998 was selected as the Principal Clarinetist of the Santa Rosa Symphony.

Zajac frequently performs chamber music with members of the Santa Rosa Symphony and on the Sonoma State University’s faculty concerts. The Santa Rosa Children’s Chorus consists of 48 boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14. They represent the surrounding cities of Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, Windsor, Sebastopol, Fulton, and Guerneville.

Tickets are available at the door on the day of the concert – adults $15 and students/seniors $10. The Glaser Center is located at 547 Mendocino Ave. in Santa Rosa.
