Adult Programs
Come to the library to enjoy the music of the Jim Adams Duo on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. Tom Shader and Jim Adams play jazz, standards and bossa nova…music to make you smile.
Perfect tunes for a Saturday afternoon at your library. Thank you to our Friends of Rohnert Park-Cotati Library for funding this special musical program. It’s free and all ages are welcome.

Master Gardeners
Master Gardener Sue Lovelace will host a presentation on “Holiday Arrangements from the Seasonal Garden” on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 10:30 a.m. This is a free event in the meeting room of the library.

• Our book discussion group does not meet in December; the next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 15. A flyer listing the 2013 books is available at the library information desk.

Basic library Internet
Learn to use the library catalog and databases on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 10-11 a.m. Sign up in advance, as space is limited to four people. You can sign up in person at the reference/information desk or call 584-9121 ext. 5.

Children’s programs
Babytimse for ages 0-17 months are on Tuesdays at 10:15 am. Wiggle Times for ages 18-35 months are on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. Pre-School Storytimes for children ages 3-5 are on Thursdays at 11 a.m. There will be no Storytime on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22.

The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog!

Upcoming December programs
On Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10-11:30 a.m., children ages 5 and up can come and make their own gingerbread house to take home. All materials will be provided.

• The next Saturday Storytime with Pam Brown will be on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. This free storytime with a craft for ages 2-6 will be on the theme of “It’s Snowing!”

• On Wednesday, Dec. 12, the library will host a free family movie night at 5:30 p.m. The movie, “Home Alone,” is rated PG and is a comedy about a boy who is accidentally left home alone for the holidays. Popcorn will be provided.

Teen programs
On Friday, Dec. 14 at 4 p.m., teens can come and make a special journal and pen set for a holiday gift (or for themselves).
All supplies will be provided. Call or come to the children’s desk to sign up for this free program.
