| AT&T workers walk out, speak out |
Cotati's D. Comfort, left, and Napa’s Paula LePage, both AT&T workers at Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park, are two of more than 20,000 AT&T workers in California, Nevada and Connecticut prottesting what its union called harassment by the company. Comfort and LePage belong to the Communications Workers of America. This was a two-day strike on Tuesday and Wednesday. The company, according to the union, is restricting standard bargaining-support activities such as wearing union stickers and buttons. The workers are on the landline side of the company.
