Law enforcement authorities are still searching for a 22-year-old Santa Rosa man who allegedly shot and injured a man during an argument near the 4100 block of Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park.

Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies found the 30-year-old victim had sustained gunshot wounds to the hand and leg. The victim, from Santa Rosa, was transported to a local hospital. The suspect, Alejandro Barragan Valencia, fled the scene and was believed to be driving a black BMW sedan with tinted windows.

He was described as 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on his left shoulder of the letters “RYA.” The victim and suspects were friends and co-workers.
