Caltrans will completely close a portion of Commerce Blvd. in Rohnert Park from 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, until 4 p.m. Thursday, October 8.
The segment in question starts from the intersection with Golf Course Drive, underneath the freeway, and over to the intersection with Redwood Drive. Local traffic in the eastern half of Rohnert Park will be detoured south on Commerce, across Rohnert Park Expressway, and then back north on Redwood Drive. Traffic in the western half of town will be detoured south on Redwood, across Rohnert Park Expressway, and back north on Commerce.
The closure will enable crews to begin the demolition of part of the current overpass structure. For the safety of the public, the demolition cannot get underway without the full closure of this segment of Commerce Boulevard.
